Ages 13 – 18 This workshop will focus on the full process of writing effective essays, developing critical thinking skills, while converting analysis into words. You will become familiar with common essay styles and approaches to writing them. Fee: $60.00 per person

Grades 8 and 9 Get a heard start on the new semester by learning the concepts of Grade 9 French in one week. This course is also useful for grade eight students who want an early introduction to high school French and for grade nine students who want a refresher course. Fee: $60.00

| Summer Reading Program Volunteers | |||||||||||||
Ages 14 - 18 Do you have an interest in working with kids? A passion for children's books? As a Summer Reading Program volunteer your primary responsibility is to listen to club members discuss what they've been reading, log information and award incentives. Volunteers may be given additional assignments including assisting with Branch programs and Creative Writing, Musical Theatre and Ready for Reading Camps. Training will be provided. | What Every Babysitter Should Know | |||||||||||||
Ages 12 and up This award-winning course teaches the skills necessary to care for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers. It emphasizes safety, dealing with emergencies, and first aid basics. This course is the creation of St. John Ambulance instructors, veteran 16-year-old babysitters, 12-year-old rookie babysitters, and moms and dads. Deadline for registration is Thursday, June 11. Fee: $55.00
